ABTiP’s Black History Month Event
Roots & Routes — From Legacy to Leadership
ABTiP Black History Month Fireside Chat & Networking
ABTiP’s Black History Month program, Roots & Routes — From Legacy to Leadership, is a reflective and forward-looking virtual experience designed to explore how Black history, lived experience, and legacy inform leadership, influence, and sustained impact today.
This fireside chat brings together professionals who are navigating leadership, growth, and contribution within their organizations and communities. Grounded in history and focused on the future, the discussion will examine how lessons from the past shape present-day leadership — from decision-making and advocacy, to mentorship, coaching, and community building.
We are honoured to welcome Rosemary Sadlier, O.C., O.Ont., PhD (Hon.), as keynote speaker, moderated by Corinne Buchanan‑Russell, President of Advancing Black Talent in Pharma.
What to expect:

-
Reflections on legacy, identity, and influence
-
Opportunities for networking and meaningful connection with peers
📍 Location: Virtual (Zoom)
